Hi, Alicia! You made a lot of great points in your video, and it sounds like you had a very enriching experience. I really like how you spoke about meeting the needs of the client in their environment and helping them to achieve independence there. I think that this is such a critical part of what we do as OTs, and if we are able to meet the client how they are and where they are, we are remaining client-centered. It sounds like the staff did a great job at helping you understand OTs role at your site. I like that you are interested in talking to other students that were at mental health settings as well as seeking opportunity to watch how the things you learned might be applied in an intervention. I would love to get to talk to you more about your experience when we are back on campus! Have a great summer break!
